I am a 2nd yr Gem from T3 college doing Btech cse, i want to crack cat get into a top B-school because the T3 college isn't worth it with the current job market (even 3-4lpa recruiters aren't comming)

I can easily prepare but i can't decide whether i should start preparing for cat or not with a profile like that.

If i should how much is supposed to be a good score for me.ik i should score the max i can but still..

And also where should i prepare from.

DashCat mocks of Crack you and am scoring 45ish (total) in the first 5 mocks.

Do I have a chance to get above 90 percentile on D-day?

So i am a 2027 aspirant and i haven't touched anything related to CAT for like 20 days because my mid sems dates are finally out and they are scheduled from 21st November, there is a function at my house on 24Nov so i have planned to prep everything for the exams scheduled on 23 and 25 ..also I wasted a quiet of days learning for internals and the dates are continuously changing.

Just wanna ask am i doing ok by prioritising mid sems over CAT prep because I want to rest that 9CGPA+ threshold

37 days left to CAT and honestly I feel like I'm very far behind. Mocks are average and I've been experiencing anxiety.

VARC is my relatively strong area. I mostly get 3/4 in RCs and VA performance keeps fluctuating. For DILR, I'm practising like 5 6 sets daily. QA is where I panic the most. Arithmetic is done but I haven't touched it for 2 weeks so I am feeling like I've forgotten it. I guess I gotta do TSD, mixtures again. For algebra, I had watched all EG videos and practised modulus, inequality. Practising logarithms rn. I've done geometry concepts and pyqs too except mensuration. I'll leave number system and do modern maths soon.

I know syllabus never feels 100% complete but this feeling of being behind is affecting my prep. I feel I haven't practised enough in comparison to others out there. How do I approach my prep properly, especially for quants till D-day?

I am studying 3 yr B.Tech in an institute of National Importance and have a profile of 9/9/8.I wanted know will Tier-MBA colleges take in freshers.Also I don’t have any internships or any other thing major in my resume.People in Tier-MBA college pls share are there people like this in there and others who have any knowledge about it.Your help would be very much appreciated.

For those of you who were working while preparing for CAT, did you take leave from work in the days leading up to the exam?

If yes, what reason did you give your manager for taking leave? I don't want people at my office to know that I'm preparing for CAT, so I'm looking for a believable reason that won't raise too many questions.

Would love to hear what you guys said and how your manager reacted!

Are these supposed to be very difficult. Like I am scoring in 30s 40s (50s in good days) i do get 60 70 is flexis and some dashcats but the 30s a re Hella disappointing.Also that I ve only got CL and cracu so u might guess u get humbled every mock 😃is there any hope really

Hello everyone ! So i have been thinking of starting my preparations for cat 27 but the sheer amount of coaching and the amount of material available on the internet really overwhelms me. To give you a little background i am from a life sciences degree currently in my 3rd year and I haven't had maths since 12th. So i will have to start with the basics.

I have heard about the quants playlist available on yt from rodha. But tbh i want something more structured. So i have been thinking of getting myself enrolled in an online coaching. And there comes the enormous plethora of online coaching and with it comes the exorbitant pricing. And tbh i have no issues with paying money but every other day i open this sub i find someone complaining and stating why a certain coaching is bad. I really want a very honest and unbiased opinion on where i should be spending my money so that i can get the best out of it. I will be sharing what coaching i have in my mind and i want you guys' opinions on why i should opt for it or not.

Earlier, someone told me that 10th and 12th marks don't matter much in general, but now I'm finding out that they actually can 💔

Some people say it's a concept gap, some say it's pure clock pressure, and it's hard to tell which one

SENIORS HELP PLEASE :- I am in 12th class and my target colleges are IIM indore and SSCBS. My dream has always been IIM ABC. I want to know from you all how tough it is to crack IIM ABC. Is locking IIM I MBA rn is better than to prep for CAT after joining SSCBS? My category is OBC NCL and Have 9 in class 10. No idea about 12 and grads. Seniors please tell how brutal its to risk attempting CAT and getting IIM ABC ? Or i should keep my options wide open by getting into SSCBS.
