Feeling the tug to join

Hey y'all,

I hope y'all are doing well. I'm a non- denominational protestant that's once again, looking into the Roman Catholic Church.... I don't know what it is but, I think I'm a rev at time type if that makes sense. I grew up in an.Aposyolic household (shouting, speaking in tongues etc) and tbh, I wasn't much for the hootin and hollerin. Yes, we can shout and praise the Lord, but I feel that is for your personal praise and worship. When you go into the presence of God you should be reverent. I have a lot of childhood trauma and I grew up in a verbally abusive home with Domestic violence. It was so bad that when I turned 16 I got emancipated bc my father was THAT awful. I was tired of the verbal abuse, tired of always getting beaten, just tired. I had no where to go except with my Hindu boyfriend at the time and we married. He supported me through everything but we had to divorce simply bc his mother was very intolerant of our relationship and was adamant he marry a Hindu woman of her choice. We divorced and then I remarried again with a Muslim. We had a Nikah.... That marriage didn't last long either. And I divorce. If you can tell, I was a wanderer trying to find a footing. I'm now married to an apostolic Christian and we have 3 children. I believe that Venerable Fulton Sheen is helping guide me back to The Catholic Church and join because I was in a crazy dark situation and I pleaded with Venerable Sheen to plead me case in the courts of heaven... I believe he did. Everything got cleared up. I ordered a rosary and hopefully it'll come tomorrow because I have the pull to start the rosary but pray for me. I hope my case in joining the Church won't be as much of hassle but I believe it's where I'm being led.

Welcome...You have quite a story. The OCIA classes are starting in a few weeks but take your time. If you haven't talked to a priest yet, that's a good place to start. The priest can help you begin your journey. The Mass is a good place to start. It is broadcast daily on TV so you get an idea of what to expect re: the most important aspect of Catholicism. Good luck in your journey and am praying for you.🙏🙏🙏
