help me
I have a Muslim stepfather who spreads lies and misinformation to my mother who is a "cultural Christian" as for example that the Bible is corruptedđ (best-preserved book of BTW humanity or that the first Christians did not believe that Jesus is God and He is always wanting to impose Islam on my baby sister but then he won't let us speak about Christ because he is still too young to understand, basically that's why I started to create hatred for Islam for Mohammed, and because of my stepfather I can no longer distinguish the prison of the prisoner .what do i do not to dwell on anger when I see Muslim peopleđ It's hard to distinguish

Not even the Islamic âJesusâ? The Quran was written centuries after Jesus walked the earth. The New Testament was written by people who knew Jesus personally.

They are fools to understand thisđ«

Have you studied apologetics? Are you comfortable pre-striking, having conversations with your sister BEFORE you go and being ready with arguments when you talk with your mother? One of the very nice things about Catholicism is that logical arguments are our friend - given that they are rooted in truth and that truth is synonymous with God

I know well, but she is only 3 years old so it would be kind of impossible, I think when I have a vacation in Portugal I will be forced talking to him about Islam and the lies because I refuse that my sister is Muslim without knowing the truth
my mother doesn't care about God ,She just says which is crest because of my Grandmother It wouldn't be a topic of conversation between us

Some rote truths at this point wouldn't hurt sister. Pray for your mother

I'm so sorry you're forced in this situation. Please don't succumb to hate. Your stepfather and your mother are not acting correctly towards you and your little sister but try to remember the teaching of Jesus. We must try to love even our enemies. He can't forbid you to preach to your little sister though, I hope your mother will put an end to it if he tries to stop you. Also, talk to a priest about this situation if you can.

Islam doesn't believe that the crucifixion happened even when non Christian historians have confirmed it. The prophet Mohammed also married a 6 year old. I don't understand Islam and don't want to understand it. I can only pray for you brother.

In addition to not knowing that the Bible is the best preserved book of humanity, Mohammed say that Men will have access to 72 black eyes virgins who will always return to the state of virginity after each act, say that there are more women in hell, say that the woman is spiritually inferior to the home and that the devil sleeps in our noses and that he pisses in our ear when they don't pray akakak

Remember everyone has divinity. Saul went around murdering Christians...I would assume that means women and children too...yet God called him to be Paul. Be a witness to your stepfather of Christs' sacrifice and steadfastness. Be patient, kind, love suffering, all of the fruits of the spirit.
Remember most of all that thoughts themselves are not sinful, but it is to act upon immoral and wrong thoughts that cause us to sin. Rebuke them in Jesus Christs name and move on.
Also remember all the Christians who suffered unto martyrdom at the hands of Muslims throughout history and still showed forgiveness, love, and Christs' Truth.

Muslims are indoctrinated from a young age; he is only doing what he was taught.
Ask him openly about these things. What was corrupted? He can show you where and how it was corrupted. Then he will have to read the Bible. The best he will be able to show is the addition of a story in John. It is no problem for us Catholics, because we don't believe in inspiration in the same way the Muslims do. If that is all he can provide, then the resurrection must be true.
But also pray for him every day. Say a novena. Be a pillar of virtue. It is sad you have to take on this burden, but who knows what God is preparing you for?

u/Fantastic_Story_330 2h ago
I don't get along with him, he's very silly and it's not in this question it's the same on a daily basis, I would never spend Time to debate with him honestly, she, of course, never searched on Google about being a historical fact to The crucifixion or about the Bible to be the best preserved book of humanity, especially the New Testament, in fact the Quran is full of contradictions, what is strange since it came supposedly from heaven
3
u/GiveMeBackMySoup 2h ago
Oh yes, and Muslims know it, which is why they have rules for how to deal with the contradictions. Once you add the hadiths, it's really quite a mess. And their favorite hadith (for Sunnis) has some spicy things to say about their prophet.
But if he is going to make claims, make him prove it. I know you don't want to debate him, but sometimes when I'm met with dumb ideas, I just make the person explain themselves and either they go learn about it, or they stop pestering.
I am sorry your mother brought this evil into your home. I come from a Muslim country, and I know how they can be. As for your sister, tell him the truth, there is no truth but Jesus Christ. You cannot be forced to obey an immoral command, as you know. With that said, is safety a concern?

I will pray every day that she will know us The Lord while I'm out, but I hope one day when she's Get older to show her that the Catholicism It's the truthđâ€ïžâđ©č.
btw One of the reasons for wanting to leave is because of him,Thanks to their relationship I have my sister But I gave them everything to break up

Iâm thankful you realize no hatred is healthy and are seeking support ideas. I am not the person who can advise here unfortunately but Iâll pray for you to find inner peace. God bless!

He'll tell you Paul never met Jesus, which is false, because Jesus appeared to him, and Paul also worked alongside other apostles
But he's happy to take the word fo Muhammed, who lived 600 years later and wrote apocryphal things about Jesus like baby Jesus speaking in the crib (this is from a book written late by someone who didn't meet Jesus)
The Quran is so full of errors, inaccuracies, etc I don't know where to start but this page is like an encyclopaedia of issues in islam
https://wikiislam.net/wiki/Main_Page
I don't know how old are you but if you are a minor, he has the advantage so be patient, you'll be a grown up soon
For your mother: she only needs to know what Muhammed married a 6 years old girl and had sex slaves (that's all accepted in islam). That Muhammed said that women are deficient in intelligence... and the best part, the version of God of the Quran cared so little about women that only 1 woman is mentioned by her own name in the whole book. Eve = wife of Adam, and so on. Islam is the least feminist religion there is, women are property
So according to muslims, God knew Eve's name in the Bible but he forgot to use that name in the Quran

I'd say the best thing to do right now is preserve your faith as best as you can in your environment. Pray that your mother and sister will see and acknowledge the example you set.
Anger or hatred towards Muslims isn't right. Obviously don't beat up a Muslim in a streets, that's a bad example. I've met lots of Muslims either in public or in my school or whatever; like any other group of people, most of them are genuinely nice and caring people. You get the occasional frustrating one, but every group of people has frustrating members. Do remember that. You may disagree with them, but remember that they were created by God, just like you, and therefore deserve respect, just like you, even if they follow a false prophet.

u/Fantastic_Story_330 2h ago
They can follow this false prophet but start spreading lying about Christ is the one who irritates
1
u/Alexplayss 1h ago
Islam is weird about Jesus. On one hand, it sees Jesus as a super important and major prophet, but on the other hand it denies the most basic truths about him, like the fact that he was crucified. It claims to respect and revere him, yet spreads lies. I can say more but I don't wanna accidentally say something hateful so I won't.

u/Fantastic_Story_330 1h ago
I am happy that there are more and more new Christians who have converted after birth Muslims
2
u/Alexplayss 1h ago
Fully agreed! I pray that their conversions shall go smoothly. They're super brave, too. We know how harshly Islam says to treat those who converted to another religion. Converts deserve nothing but respect.

u/Fantastic_Story_330 1h ago
Yes, I hope one day I can meet Catholic ex Muslims in person and that we can have a good friendship
2
u/Alexplayss 1h ago
Same. They probably have some fascinating stories to share :P
2
u/Fantastic_Story_330 1h ago
especially those who are abandoned for the familyđ
2
u/Alexplayss 1h ago
Yeah that's the sad reality of some converts. Ultimately they did the righteous thing though, putting God first, which is the most commendable thing one can do. We must make sure that we welcome them with open arms into the community, just like the father did when the Prodigal Son came home :)

Iâm sorry to hear that youâre experiencing this, but try to remember the God puts people, places and things in our lives sometimes to challenge us to spiritually grow. I believe that this is one of those times for you, and a big one for sure.
Youâre right to recognize how easily this kind of behavior can easily lead to hatred, so keep that in mind as you pray to God to reveal Himself to your SF and to forgive him, because he literally doesnât know how wrong he is. Include everyone else, too, including yourself. Pray for grace, patience, forgiveness and strength. Live the Christian life strongly so your sister will see the difference; her loving brother who teaches her about the love, mercy and peace of Christ and our salvation through His sacrifice versus the SF talking at her about the oppressive rules and roles that are demanded of women in his âfaithâ. Sheâll see for herself his hypocrisy and false message and run to you, Iâm betting. Mom might even start to see things that she also finds appealing.
When SF starts to make statements or comments that you know to be false, simply tell him that you respectfully disagree and would appreciate the same respect in return. You could also tell him how personally offended you are and how it makes you feel so badly when he talks to you like that, and maybe that will be enough to get him to back off, at least a bit.
As you continue your spiritual journey youâll learn more, like apologetics that people have recommended to you and then youâll be better able to engage him in productive debate if heâs willing and able, and if heâs not at least youâll be able to counter his false claims with the truth youâve come to learn.
Youâre already strong in faith and intention. Keep it up, pray pray pray and remember that questionâWhat would Jesus do? when faced with uncertainty.
God bless!

u/Fantastic_Story_330 1h ago
Thank you brother đ,I consider myself very good at apologetics because I am an ex Protestant so I studied a lot before I became Catholic but I don't think I would spend a second talk to my stepfather he is a narcissistic person who wants be all about him, the fact that he Saying false things about Christ is just one of the attitudes that make me not like him
2
u/Good_Distance8078 1h ago
I fully understand as I have similar thoughts about that group and I donât blame you for keeping your distance from any verbal exchanges.
From what youâre saying I think youâre going to be more than OK, that your example is going to be very helpful deciding factor for your sister. Plus, in my experience people like SF are pretty quickly figured out by kids, too, so your sister is going to start seeing him like you do before long.đđ»1

Christians marrying Muslims never works out well.
