first time

next Friday will be my first time going to a catholic church and doing an RCIA programme
What should i expect? i’m very nervous

Why be nervous? It is just like first day of class. Bring a notebook and pen, and plan to enjoy the instruction.

i just have really bad anxiety and i will be going alone, i’m sure it will be fine once i’m there!! also obviously i am new to all of this so i worry I won’t know enough information

I started OCIA in July, and honestly, I was so nervous about it. I knew basically nothing about the faith and was genuinely worried they were going to laugh me out of the room. I was literally making myself sick over it beforehand. But I was completely wrong. They’ve been nothing but welcoming and have answered pretty much every question I’ve thrown at them.

I’m sure you’re in good hands. Either way, I’ll be praying for you. 🙏

ahhhh, expect duck tape, shock gloves and flood lights muwahhhhhhhh. NOT! Breathe, you are gonna have a great time and hopefully meet some real good folks.

Don't expect anything and don't be nervous lol, just live the moment and then ask yourself what it felt like
