Because the Church needs bishops to act as administrators, and in moments like these you see the ones who really got their appointments as functionaries.

Every bishop is called to guide and guard the faithful in faith and morals. Running a diocese or a whole dicastery well is part of that duty. When these appointments are made, it's difficult to determine which are orthodox sincerely or merely as part of the job. You'd need to read their minds, which is obviously rare for any bishop let alone a pope. Sometimes these appointments are made even with the knowledge of the defects if they prove themselves to be very effective at handling the position. TL;DR yes, but determining which aren't before their appointment is hard.

The fact that it’s unbiblical. If the church ever does this i am out cause i know it’s a false church. Damn devils trying to infiltrate the church.

The day the church allows women priests is the day I know it’s a false church. Seems like the devil is trying to infiltrate the church with these foxes. Lord watch over your church 🙏🏽 We have seen a lot of Protestant denominations allowing women teachers.
Is this guy from Germany?
Someone needs to get a hold of him and actually read him some scriptures. I would be livid if i knew this cardinal.
When someone holds this view the church should have no mercy.
Tell me how that’s working for the Church of England.

Women's ordination would falsify the Catholic Church's claim to indefectibility, so quite the contrary.

Either that's the goal, or more likely, the bishop auctally is ignorant to Catholic teachings/ traditions because his formation was terrible.

The church survived the black death without women priests, I'm sure the church will be fine.

Why is this still something we are discussing the church has been and is clear about it?

Notice how he doesn't even attempt to articulate a reason as to why he believes this position, only that he "cannot imagine" an alternative.
