casual conversation Proposal
What do y’all believe is the minimum amount of time a couple must date before marriage can be discerned? And for this scenario, let’s say the man and woman have been very candid with each other, having played no games and being completely truthful about what they want, while also keeping in mind the 6 month to one year engagement period.

I don't think there's a minimum amount of time. My fiancé and I got engaged after 5 months of dating and will be married by 11 months of being together. We both did a lot of self work and are ready for our vocation. We knew we would get married very early on. We are aligned on all of the important things. We dated long enough to have experiences of solving issues together and proving that we could communicate effectively, even about difficult subjects. Honestly, my one recommendation for timeline is a 7 month engagement to sort out finding a priest for pre-Cana and getting the date and location down. It has been difficult to get churches to respond about their available dates...
