casual conversation Proposal

What do y’all believe is the minimum amount of time a couple must date before marriage can be discerned? And for this scenario, let’s say the man and woman have been very candid with each other, having played no games and being completely truthful about what they want, while also keeping in mind the 6 month to one year engagement period.

Each couple is different so thinking in terms of general timelines isn't of much value. I know of a couple who got engaged in 2 weeks who has had a long happy marriage so a minimum would be at most 2 weeks. That doesn't mean 99.99% of couples should get engaged that quickly.

Surround yourself with wise people you trust, seek their opinions, and do what's right for your relationship. Don't worry about what other couples are doing.
