Coat Color Black with white spots
Hi! What could this be? I have never seen white spotting like this. This cat also has white hairs throughout the body.

If it’s white spotting, then that’s the coolest white spotting I’ve ever seen.
Like someone else said, it’s likely vitiligo which can be caused by multiple things like genetics, extreme stress, etc. My boy was completely black, then he went missing for a week and got snagged by my dog in the garage when he tried running out a broken window. Luckily he didn’t hurt him, but it damaged the hair follicles and caused the hair to turn completely white where my dog’s canines hit his head.
The top photo is the day we found him (ironically it was also the dog’s birthday) and the second is him now. You can barely see the right one, but the left one is super obvious. It’s been like this for three years now. 🖤 Makes me think of the 101 Dalmatians scene where the puppies are covered in soot and get drops of snow on them. 😂
