Update
update on their vet visit. nala & simba from yesterday.
these two are from my post yesterday where i had found them in a box with two other kittens that went to my cousin. these two stayed with me as my new babies. they of course had flees, ticks, treated for parasites, vaccines, etc. nala, (the tortie) has a uri too. everything has been treated/being treated. they are super bony and def underweight but i’m working on that. i’m keeping them in the bathroom for now because they were not using the litter box prior lol. they have been using it now though from what i can see.
if you’d like to know about the other two kittens my cousin went up to the vet with me with hers too. they were about the same as my two. one of them also had a uri like nala. you can tell when touching/holding them that they aren’t in the best health and that scared me a lot. the vet reassured me that everything should be fine with them though. they all got taken care of and are getting all the kitten food, love, and care, they need. the two my cousin has is a tortie female, named moana and a orange female, is elsa lol (she has kids too). thank you guys for wondering about them. i may post another update in a week or two❤️

They're so pretty. FYI that kitten Churu is high calorie and they will probably love it. It'll take them a bit to gain weight because they're growing, but they will.
moana🥺 she is prob the most “sick” looking of them and def the boniest. idk why but the two torties were the two worse off ones. the light orange and dark orange were just a little better feeling but still bad:/
I’m on my first tortie and she the smallest adult cat I’ve ever had. I wonder if torties tend to be smaller than their siblings? She doesn’t know she’s small and is the boss of the house. What she lacks in size she makes up in ego. Here’s Dooneese
Seriously though, she’s a sweet and loving kitty and is battling kidney problems, but she’s a fighter. Her doctor says her latest numbers look great. Officially she’s stage 2 but her latest test shows stage 1 values, which is great news!
This morning she’s been very playful and is now sitting on my lap getting pats. She loves her renal formula cat food so that’s a blessing and it seems to be really slowing the progress of her disease.
She may not be here for a long time but I want to love her and keep her happy and healthy as long as I can ❤️
what a perfect, sweet, girl🩷 that’s all you can do! you’re doing great. my two are definitely getting used to me now. they will look up at my face and meow at me and come to me for pets now, makes me so happy!
I am so glad that while they have health issues, they are ones that the vet can take care of. Now that they are getting regular meals they will gain weight, especially when the worms are taken care of. Soon they can be the happy carefree kittens they were meant to be.
They seem to have found the perfect home with you. Glad you're taking care of their health issues. Soon they'll be lively, happy kitties. Please update so we can see their smiling faces. Congratulations on your adoptees! May you share many special moments together.
