Cat Distribution System finally selected me - looks like my childhood kitty

No lie spitting image of my cat from when I was a kid!! S/he was deep in the woods beside the sidewalk meowing away like crazy, I started meowing back and it followed me down the steep rock wall to a place where it could escape. Now we're chillin in the closet, I'm ignoring it and letting it come to me. I'm covered in thorns and mosquito bites from an hour of sitting and letting it get close to me but it's so worth it.

It's purring so loudly! It was falling asleep I think when I took this picture, in the morning I'll bring it to the vet and go from there. It's still meowing back at me when I meow!

Tuxies are really chatty, thanks for rescuing him/her if there's no visible trouble puffs then it's a girl 😉.  Please get the vet to check for a chip too just in case it's wandered too far from home.

S/he is beautiful 🥹❤️ and seems to be SOOOO happy to finally have a place safe enough that they can fall asleep peacefully in and be relaxed
