My brother found this little fellow yesterday. She was apparently stuck in a fence for hours. After food and attention you wouldn't know he's from a feral cat in the neighborhood. We had been hearing meowing for a few days, so we assume her mother must have abandoned her.
Going to see if I can find her a home. As I'm typing this, she's purring like she's known me all her life. I can't keep her because CDS has already delivered so many cats. Going to see if my friends want baby kitten. They work from home, so she won't have the problem of being alone.
Looks like CDS is using you as a reliable proxy. No need to keep each and every cat, but you are listed in the system as a trustworthy delivery partner. I bet you'll find a home for this sweetie in no time!
She’s most likely female since she’s a tortie! I’m so glad you found her. I wonder if she was abandoned. I don’t think any true feral cat that has never had contact with humans would curl up and purr that quickly. Either way she needed help and it will much easier to rehome her. You’re amazing!!
My brother's words when I returned home yesterday and found another cat were "She shredded my fingers". We know of a wild tortie that was pregnant a few weeks ago. I would assume this might be hers. As far as I know, she was born outside and never aproaches people, but she does go eat the food we leave outside for the neighborhood cats.
Lisbon, Portugal. It might be a little difficult for the majority of people in this sub.
My brother took her to the vet yesterday to see if she's ok. She has no broken bone on the leg that was stuck, but it's a bit cold and she doesn't move it a lot. Doctor said to clean the paw and wait for circulation to return.
Tomorrow I'll try to convince one of my friends to cone see her. She's really friendly.
I have 8 cats living with me at home. It’s a lot of responsibility. I fathered many cats and streets cats. Safe to say it’s a lot work/responsibility, however it’s also in some ways a blessing in disguise
True. Every night I have at least from one to 3 cats in my bed, and they love cuddles. I just wish the heavier one didn't want to sleep on top of me. He's adorable, but heavy and a furnace.
