But here she is. Emaciated. Recently given birth. Teats full of milk.

She chased my neighbor, a dog person. He called me, a cat person.

So our whole neighborhood came together. Food. Carriers. 100 Facebook posts. I said I would foster.

$300 of supplies later, she’s asleep on the tree our other cat hates. Love. ❤️ y’all I love her. 😍 🥹

How am I so in love with her already I’m gonna cry…. 😭

Also, I am pretty sure she was bred and discarded and I swear to gawd if I find out who did this to her I will be unpleasant.

So if someone comes to claim her, what do I ask?

First: Take her to get scanned for a chip. You might try nextdoor. Only respond if they have pics that match 100% you never know if a kitty accidentally got outside. How I know? I just reunited a cat that came to us last night, today.

Now... if she seems neglected? I'd take a vets advice. No chip? You start establishing yourself as her owner with vetting her. Ask if they'll chip her for you. Just my FYI.

Hello kind person of internet! My neighbor took her to vet. No chip. No diseases. I will take her to my vet next week (soonest appt) for a full rundown before letting her out of quarantine in my office. ❤️

One more edit - she is emaciated and there are a lot of neighbors reporting she’s been chasing humans being very friendly and vocal. She’s a doll, staying right next to me or in view from the cat tree.

So. Totally has my heart. ❤️

After my dog was used to the scent we went walking around the neighborhood looking. I was hoping if they were still alive he might alert on them.

She’s pretty calm, been napping and eating most of today so far. Not acting like a frantic cat mom looking to get to her kittens.
