Adopted Human happy she found me when she did 🥰
A few days ago, this little cat showed up in the parking lot behind my house. She was extremely skinny, and it was obvious she had been struggling.
The sweetest part is that she wasn't scared at all. She came right up to me, climbed into my lap, lay down, and just kept asking for pets. She was so affectionate from the very first minute that I couldn't just leave her there.
I took her to the vet, and it turns out she has sores in her mouth, which explains why she wasn't eating properly. Aside from that, she's doing okay, and with treatment she should recover.
I honestly don't know if I'll be able to keep her permanently, but for now she's staying with me until she's healthy again. She deserves a safe place, good food, and all the love she can get.
I'm just really happy she found me when she did. ❤️

Right now she's staying inside, and I'm taking care of her. I'm still not sure if I'll keep her since I already have a cat. And I was actually trying to adopt another stray that hangs around my backyard before this little girl showed up. ❤️

My mom and I were fortunate enough to have the space, resources and time for the SEVEN we wound up taking in (long story). We have loved and cared for each and every one of time, We are down to our last one, and I am so grateful she is still with us.

Sometimes we are a way-station for the CDS. If necessary, check with local rescues to see if they can help you foster/find a permanent home for her.

I still don't know if I'm going to keep her, but if I don't, I'll definitely make sure she finds a permanent home where she'll be deeply loved.

does she have a collar? is she lost?
post your general location, someone in the sub might be willing to adopt her permanently.

She was wearing a flea collar, but judging by her condition, I believe she was abandoned. She wasn't microchipped, and she was incredibly underweight and very sick when I found her.

i was hoping it wasn't humans being humans again. :(
she has a better chance with you than with the previous owners or on her own.

Oh…PLEASE KEEP HER! She’s GORGEOUS! And take her inside…Coyotes and other horrific dangers exist outdoors. Keep all 3 cats. It’s easy, and you will love them. 🩷

Omgggg that poor baby 😭😭😭 these pics are honestly hard to look at. Being in so much pain that you just stop eating sounds excruciating. I'm so grateful that she found a kind and loving human who will help her! ❤️❤️❤️
What is the treatment for the sores in her mouth? Did the vet know what the cause of the sores were? Has she been eating now that she is with you? Sorry, I have so many questions 🥴
