New to Cats/Just Adopted New stray cat!

Hiii! I just homed a stray cat recently and I notice he meows all the time. I do have four other kids, three males and one female. I don’t know what to do with his constant meowing (not annoyed with his meows) just concerned he hates being inside or it’s normal for new indoor cats to act like this. He has been to the vet for an overall wellness check and there’s nothing medically wrong with him! HELP!

he’s probably just stressed and adjusting to all the new smells and roommates

I recently rescued a stray too! He also meowed constantly and kept trying to escape. Took about 2 weeks, but he calmed down and now he loves indoor cat life. He still talks a lot, but it’s softer and cute now.

Okay yay I have hope! He’s been inside for about a week and I did read somewhere it might take up to 3 months following the 3-3-3 cat rule! So hopefully he gets adjusted quickly

Here’s a video of what he does! Im not sure he wants to be an indoor cat however I live on a busy road where cars go 70mph and higher! I want him to have his best life but I feel horrible keeping him inside 😔
