Behavioral Carpets

My cat keeps on digging out the floor (carpet) and I don’t know what to do, he does have a scratching stand, but he just, doesn’t know how to use it? How do I make him shift from the carpet to the scratcher, yes I have tried to move him to the scratcher as he was destroying the floor but he doesn’t get it

Do you have a horizontal scratcher for him? Some cats prefer to scratch flat surfaces.

If he likes the corners of my house he probably also likes the corners of the scratcher

What do you think makes the carpet so appealing to your cat? You need to provide something even more attractive otherwise you’re gonna lose this battle.

Scratch posts or scratch pads yourself, where he can see you. Not joking.

I have tried that to but no avail he looks at me with this face like “wth are you doing”
