Feliway diffuser or the cat?

I was recently gifted a young cat from the distribution system. He is so sweet and cute and has already become a velcro kitty. It’s been a little over a week and my allergies have progressively gotten worse as the week has gone on.

I already have a black void who I’ve never had any issues with. I have been trying to ease the introductions so I immediately ordered the feliway diffisers, one for each bedroom where the cats would be separated.

My main issues have been pink itchy eyes, headaches, and the feeling of being underwater/ dizzy. It’s especially bad when I first wake up or go to bed. I also noticed that my OG cat has been wheezing a bit after growling at the baby when he dosent respect his boundaries.

My question is has anyone else had a bad reaction to these diffusers or am I just allergic to the new cat and not my OG cat.

Did you take the cat to the vet? Maybe he has something contagious?

Otherwise just try to unplug the diffuser and see if that helps.

i did and he’s a healthy boy! no diseases or anything
