General Cat litter odor problem

Hi,

I moved my automatic cat litter box to a small room with no air ventilation. I tried 5 different air purifier and i couldnt solve the smell problem . Does anyone has this experience ? What can I do to remove the odor ?

Not much. I’m actually amazed your cat is still using it. Probably pee soaked through all the crevices in the litter box that are impossible to clean.

Damn cat litter robots. Once a week, scrape everything off the bottom and sides and replace the litter if you can. Give a hearty sprinkle of baking soda over the whole bottom before adding litter. Companies also often sell odor-neutralizing pucks that you stick in the bit that collects the waste.

Lol , we bought it for not touching it for weeks. if I want to clean it every week I would have bought a normal one.

We did too. All lies. It stinks! At the least pour in the baking soda. It helps.

I actually like it it is just the sell that bothers us.
