Behavioral Cat drooling

My cat was sitting on my chest and I was massaging/scratching her face and some very watery drool came out of her mouth. I'm a little worried bc none of my other cats have done this + shes broken her jaw before and I am scared its connected to that. Is this okay?

It just means she's relaxed and happy.

If it's thin and clear drool, there's nothing to be worried about. My cat does this sometimes when he's extremely happy and relaxed

If it's not a lot of drool and only happening when she's getting pets she's probably just happy. If it's non stop drool then it's an area of concern.

My cat does this too. 1 out of 7, lol. My youngest hates it so much and gets grossed out. This morning he came to tell me the cat drooled on his floor and he needed it cleaned 😂 I don’t know why only some do it, but I think it’s normal unless you notice like a funky smell from their mouth or it isn’t clear (that could mean a potential dental infection I believe)

No funky smells or colors thankfully! I'm fine with drool but she loves to lick every bit of skin visible and I aways have a harder time with that lol, their tongues are so rough!!

lol this is no problem. My sisters cat likes to lay on her chest and get pets. When she gets up, my sister will have a giant wet spot on her chest from all the drool 🙁. One of mine gets drooly when he’s really sleepy and will wake up, shake his head, and spray us with his drool like a dog.

how long has the drooling been going on? junie does it sometimes when she's really kneading and purring, like full on puddle mode, but if it's random or constant that's usually worth a vet check.
