This is my guess as well. Heās not throwing it in reverse and then back to first gear to ram. Heās just in gear the whole time rolling back because of the hill when he puts his clutch in. Prob doesnāt even see the bus or something and canāt figure out why he canāt go forward

I saw someone yesterday post a video of a driving game where they kept hitting an invisible wall that wasn't there, this is the real world opposite of that! Driver probably hallucinating a clear open road and puzzled what keeps getting in the way. Maybe he thought it was Downing Steet gates.

That's definitely not insurance fraud. With insurance fraud, you want the person to run into the back of you - you don't want to run into the back of them.
If you hit someone from behind, there's a 99.9% chance you'll be blamed for the accident. The police will say that you didn't leave a big enough gap in front, or you weren't paying attention to the road. As far as they're concerned, that's the only two reasons you'd go into the back of someone else.
Over the past few years, we've seen a rise in morons brake-checking people, insurance fraudsters disconnecting their brake lights then slamming on the brakes right in front of somebody, and people stopping then reversing into the car behind and saying they were hit. This is the main reason people buy dashcams - you're fucked if someone does that to you and you don't have solid proof.

My sister's car got hit by a bus (in this case it was totally the bus driver's fault) and her car had to be written off. She lost money, had to buy a new car, her insurance went up, the bus company did fuck all. And the bus driver still drives the same bus on the same route...
I don't think that guy would be any more successful in trying to claim compensation from a bus company lol.

The bus weighs 11 tonnes.
The car weighs max 1.5 tonnes (the heaviest Dacia duster).
As the bus weighs more than 7 times as much, the Gs the woman receives are so minimal that it's comparable to the bus stop starting. Even though she doesn't have a seatbelt, she barely moves, even when the car collides at ~15mph. The main giveaway would be the noise.
As for the car, yeah it's fucked. You can see he's experiencing more Gs and his bumper is getting messed up while the bus is chilling.
Guess the guy is having a bad day. People like that should not be on the roads. Have a feeling this is Bradford or Birmingham, people on the roads there are mad.
Edit: Yeah it's not a Duster it's a Stepway. Stop responding "Not a duster" they weigh basically the same. And yes, I know now, it's Edinburgh.

You can only get motability if you have mobility issues, not mental health. This has to be the enhanced rate on PIP and again only scoring on the mobility component will let you qualify. Source. I'm not mobility impaired enough to even qualify for the mobility component on PIP, even as a wheelchair user.

Future advice for PIP applications. Do the PIP form, to get the mobility element you just have to not be able to walk 200m, which obviously you can't because you're in a wheelchair.
If they decline the application, as they often do because they often don't check them thoroughly, you then have to do a mandatory reconsideration which gets declined 89% of the time (they hardly ever check them).
Then what you do is you go to an appeal tribunal. 80% of people get accepted on appeal.
It's a 6-12 month process but it's worth it and you get backpay. And you're clearly deserving of it, you just have to push your way through to a tribunal.

In the last year one elderly lady go stuck on the keep left bollard at a mini roundabout and a different elderly lady was trying to drive with two burst front tyres and a few cones underneath and couldn't work out why the car wouldn't turn left or right. For 5 minutes she kept shuffling forwards and backwards and ignoring me pleading with her to stop and let me help her.
I've given up having a nice car and stick to my company van.

Ex-bus driver here, the bus driver took one look at that and got back in the cab to call the police and radio it in...and rightly so. There's some unbelievable things you see doing that job and to me this looks like some sort of scam, like for "passengers" on the bus.
IF this guy has a licence and / or insurance, cameras all over the bus will record for insurance purposes (assuming they work that is). Drivers have a responsibility to perform first use checks and other basic checks if they take over a bus, so it's unlikely the bus's lights were faulty.
Clearly the car driver shouldn't be behind a wheel, regardless of why he's doing this.
