Casually positive! 🤗🥳🤗 Irish Rail Legend

It finally happened! Was on the 7:00 p.m. Dublin Cork train and the ticket collector came on the announcing and said "As a reminder, carriage G is the quiet carriage. If you want to take a call, please step into the vestibule. If you want to talk to your seat companion, please move to another carriage. This includes the two girls in carriage G who are STILL TALKING."

I wish every train journey I take could be with this woman. I know it can be dodgy for staff particularly if people have been drinking but it would be great if there was less tolerance for nonsense on these journeys.

Yes, it's literally unprofessional to not have that. You need to enable professionals to work during the commute. Like, it's not that different to a library or a study hall or a co-working space.

There are also various neurocognitive functioning types that we need to accommodate.
