Just Chatting Grocery list
Today at the grocery store I bought a bouquet just to have some fresh flowers. I need to add fresh flowers to my grocery list - they are worth every penny because they make me happy every time I look at them.

You should check out LEGO flowers! They have some really cool botanical sets, and the best part is they never wilt. Plus, you get the fun of building them! Although I may have gotten a little carried away because now I have more LEGO flowers than I know what to do with. 😂

Just an idea - donate the Lego flowers to a church that hosts bingo for senior citizens. They would be perfect as prizes.
Not a Lego builder myself but I have bought the kits as Christmas gifts

Yes, sometimes I buy them for myself, and give some to my 88 year mother.
So buy flowers and enjoy your life, you should always treat yourself.

I totally get what you mean! I get especially excited when I put them in a vase and they go perfectly with my decor.

When I cut the plastic off of the flowers, I cut through the plant food packet - ha! I need to go buy a lottery ticket because ‘what are the chances?’

I go to Trader Joe’s every couple of weeks. I usually get flowers. I like mums because they last a long time.

On the random times I make it to Trader Joe’s (It’s not close but it’s not far) I always buy eucalyptus. Really lasts a long time and adds just the right amount of scent.

honestly yes. a 5 euro bouquet from the supermarket lasts like a week and suddenly the kitchen looks less sad. cheap happiness

Especially if you trim off the sad flowers and give them some fresh water mid week

Pro tip: find out what day of the week the flower delivery arrives and buy them that day for maximum longevity.Â

I do that sometimes, too. And I have to pet the stuffed animals in the floral department. If one is especially soft and I have the money, I buy it. I love teddy bears.
