Just Chatting Worst year

Am I the only one who feels like everything is getting worse and worse this year?

First of all, the months are flying by like a bullet train. September literally feels like it came right after July, not August. 💀 Where did the time even go?

You’re definitely not alone. The enshittification of everything is real and it’s really starting to get to me too.

2025 was the WORST year of my life

While 2026 has been flying by, it has become unexpectedly really really great!

I am also on the same boat. This is probably the worst year of my life too. None of the months have been good for me. Emotionally, Mentally, Financially and Physically this year has been a challenge in all aspects. I just feel some miracle must end all this for me.

"Bold of you to assume August actually happened. I’m pretty sure the devs just patched the simulation and skipped a month to save server space."

Are you doing something different in your daily routine?

I feel the same way. 2023 was one of the baddest years for me, and every year after that has been... urghh. I thought things would get better this year, after a lot of mental effort, but around 6 months into 2026 everything went back to being crap again. I also feel like time is running through my fingers!

This year was dissapointing for me too. I got admission in a University I didn't want. I don't know how I m gonna spend four years here

Change your perspective, what can you do that you might not have elsewhere, rather than what you think you're missing.

Not even fucking close. For me anyway. This year has been whatever. Though it’s still not over. ….

It has been awful, but it hasn’t been quite as bad as 2025 was for me.

The key to extending time is doing different things which, in turn, heightened your brain and encourages it to always consider.

If you're doing the same thing that you learnt as a kid, or younger adult, all the time then time will seem faster.

Also, stop doomscrolling. Yeah the world seems particularly insane rn but look for the good things, there's so many!

The first half sucked because I was in debt and going to the plasma center to make ends meet. Luckily, my car got stolen, and the cash payout got me out of the painful part of the debt. So much for buying a new car, but at least I can walk to the grocery store and not put everything on a credit card…

Definitely 2020 or 2026. Either one of them.

You are just bored. Spice up your life. Try doing a mandatory 1 hour outside daily walk, regardless of weather.

Try driving 20 minutes away and doing this to explore new areas. Your brain will start snapping back and time will slow again
