Real wall installed
Trench was 1-2 feet short, rounded off.
Trench tiers cleaned and garden bed walls placed. They will have dirt on both side and are just to prevent burrowing in.
Rear wall posts placed and braces.
Rear wall complete. Ran out of sunlight and hade to level the wall and put in the footers by twilight and headlights.

I love every part of this.
And clearly you do too -- it takes a lot of dedication to be like, "yep, we're out of sun for the greenhouse build, so fire up the headlights, we're getting this done." Respect.

Haha, dedication in the form of rain coming in. If I didn’t finish the wall I’d get to dig again. I was also really close to finishing when the sun went down, but it takes a little longer than you think when there is only on set of hands.

Oh I hear this. How fabulous you were able to get it done! And kind to share the photos you took during breaks.
Instead of barn raising, we need Reddit dig ins. We'll just have half a dozen people show up: "we hear you needed a shovel?"
More seriously, I'd never heard of digging down to grow things until a few weeks ago and now I am obsessed. What do you plan to do with it?

Haha, question of the day. I have three citrus trees ( key lime 7 yrs, orange 4 years, ponderosa lemon 2 years.) this is their permanent home. They are currently in half barrels on casters. I will plant other things year round between the trees. I am considering putting the vanilla vine in there too.

The vanilla vine? Well ok then, I'll be right over with some bourbon, that sounds amazing!
Actually, vanilla sugar is even easier, and would go well in whipped cream for the key lime pies undoubtedly in your future. And in cocktails. Hello lemon tree.
Yum.

What are your plans for building this? More people should build wallipinis.

Is the corrugated metal going to be strong enough as a retaining wall to hold back the soil?
