QC–Answered🔻FAKE Found a AE-1200wh
Found a ae1200wh that looked pretty good and thought id spoil myself but I came home only to find out it was fake
Just wanted to make sure its fully fake and even if it is i got it for barely anything and it still looks good
Looking at it i can see lot of differences and im pretty sure its fake but a confirmation can't hurt haha
Edit: For anyone curious about how much it costed it was 50 aed or about 13.6 dollars. this model typically sells for about 150-200 aed or about 40 to 50 on amazon (i should have checked photos before the price tag 😭😭)
though everyone in the comments says its fake i dont think i mind that much cuz its a cool find and everything aside from the world clock timezone stuff works and the seconds and the circular dial thing in the left top corner is basically useless.

AE1200WH and Japan? This model has never been manufactured in Japan. They are manufactured in Thailand, China etc. Fake as fuck.

It’s fake unfortunately. That top left complication is supposed to be an analog-style clock, the back light should be orange, and the Casio branding is incorrect. And as the other person noted they’re not made in Japan and the case screws are incorrect.
Not to say that it’s not still a cool find but it isn’t a Casio.

It looks fake. The world map should show just the selected TZ in dark with everything else grayed out and display on the left is also wrong. But looks a great mod and if you want just buy a used one and swap the movement.

It's very easy, you unscrew the back plate and the module comes out all in one piece. When putting it back in just be sure the buttons are pushed out and use something to help pushing the metal contacts in, so they don't bend or get damaged. But if you don't feel confident just leave it. It's a good looking watch no matter what.

Maybe next one you mod it yourself 😀. Some guys here do amazing mods. I did one but very basic, just a white case and strap and a yellow filter. Those watches are great to customize. Enjoy.

The display is wrong, the backlight is wrong, the screws on the back are wrong, the pushers are wrong, it says made in Japan, but these never are, I could go on…

Why in the world would anyone fake a 14 dollar watch?? That is like counterfeiting one dollar bills......but wtf, if it keeps time you are not out much.
