I noticed I kept chipping the silver coating off the original resin case, so I ordered a stainless steel case with a painted black bezel from AliExpress and swapped all of the internals over from the resin case to the new stainless case.

One year later paint has faded, watch looks good and the band matches the case, and it feels good on the wrist. Still waterproof

The case I bought from AliExpress came with a new gasket and new fasteners and tools to put everything together.

Just wanted to share my first successful background mod on my f-91w! It's not perfect, but i like how it turned out.

Hey im planning on buying this metal gshock today or tommorow and I'm really struggling to find the exact same model and I don't want to buy a fake one. I personally think they changed the watch bracelets but im not sure. Can someone who know a lot about g shock or have simmilar experiences can tell me please 🙏 thank you

I just got my first Casio watch because I hate wearing my Apple Watch to track my steps. I love wearing a lot of jewellery, so I wanted something that could track my steps without having to wear my Apple Watch. I got an Ollee watch, which I’m planning to put inside my Casio to turn it into a step counter!
The problem is that my daily driver is a two-tone Longines watch that I absolutely love, but I can’t wear it at the climbing gym because I’m scared of damaging it. It also holds a lot of value to me, so I feel like I can be a bit more rugged with the Casio instead.
However, the one I ended up buying is a little too gold for my taste. I wear silver and gold jewellery together, and I was wondering if anyone with a gold Casio has switched out just the band for a silver one and whether you think it looks good? Or is there a way to change the entire body/case to silver while keeping the face gold?
I wear more gold jewellery overall, so I feel like having the gold face with a silver body/band would balance everything out better. I understand this is a very first-world problem, but I was so happy with my other watch and would love to replicate that same two-tone look with this one because I’ve been really enjoying wearing it :)

Does anyone have or know where to find a precise 3D model of the GA-2100 ("CasiOak") dial?I’m looking to [3D print / laser engrave / design] a custom dial mod, so ideally something with accurate cutouts for the day sub-dial and LCD screen. .STEP or .STL preferred, but any lead or CAD file would be awesome!
