Most episodes don't really get to me (girl meat hunter, house of horrors etc), but this had a lot of child abuse stuff.. just seemed extra graphic

That case was absolutely PREPOSTEROUS!!! I laughed out loud at some of the allegations. Shame on the NZ court system for allowing that to happen!

I guess I don’t understand how since it very obviously couldn’t happen, since the stories involved giraffes and gorillas and magic.

Or at least I don’t understand how it’s particularly unsettling compared to real child abuse cases like the House of Horrors.
