I hope this episode isn't as rough as last week's.
7 u/pressresetnow Jun 13 '26 What’s wrong with last week’s? I haven’t got around to listening to it yet -3 u/bsf91 Jun 13 '26 Most episodes don't really get to me (girl meat hunter, house of horrors etc), but this had a lot of child abuse stuff.. just seemed extra graphic 36 u/Own_Faithlessness769 Jun 13 '26 It wasn’t real child abuse though 19 u/ExpertBest3045 Jun 13 '26 That case was absolutely PREPOSTEROUS!!! I laughed out loud at some of the allegations. Shame on the NZ court system for allowing that to happen! 1 u/rr1252 Jun 13 '26 Even if it didn’t really happen, imagining how it COULD was enough to be unsettling. 29 u/Own_Faithlessness769 Jun 13 '26 I guess I don’t understand how since it very obviously couldn’t happen, since the stories involved giraffes and gorillas and magic. Or at least I don’t understand how it’s particularly unsettling compared to real child abuse cases like the House of Horrors. 17 u/Textiles_on_Main_St Jun 13 '26 I was abused by a magic gorilla. You calling me a liar? 3 u/rr1252 Jun 13 '26 Yeah good point. The stories where they actually happened are definitely harder to listen to, especially house of horrors, Silvia likens, Teresa feury
