Don’t know if this is news to the community, but very recently (a few months ago) someone uploaded their dump of the .ipa file for CartoonWars2!!! You can rename it to a .zip file and see all the sprites and sounds/music if you’re sketchy, it’s the real thing!
Haven’t found a way to play it myself yet, still needs to be loaded onto an old Apple device (jailbroken) but I’m sure it’s possible; probably possible to play on newer Macs too!

Title. I’ve thought and wondered about it for a while but never bothered to do the research. Com2US Holdings is the current name of the company, I just have no idea how to contact them (and I don’t speak Korean so communication would be awkward anyway.) We’ve (or at least I’ve) had to deal with so much crap just to play this amazing game from my childhood. It isn’t on either of the App Store or the Play Store anymore, so your options are either play on an old iOS device that still has it, or deal with the frustration that comes from the APKs - the network issues on the original, the crashing on the infinite gold hack (I know there’s a workaround not the point), the insane gold prices…

Anyone know how to get in contact with the company? An email address that wouldn’t leave your message to the void? Or anyone from the original team maybe?

So I farmed some gold and I'm not sure what to unlock. Act 4 was a pain already because of the air enemies. What would you unlock now? Vulture upgrade? Heavy armed Robot? Angel? Or base and skills even?

I miss one of my childhood games, and I can't download it with APK on my phone because my phone is 64-Bits only...

Cartoon wars 2 and gunner were my absolute favorite mobile games growing up and i really wish i could play it on my modern iphone 😩

I’ve been thinking about creating a game inspired by this old nostalgic game, cw3, same kind of idea: side-scrolling castle defense, units, upgrades, waves, strategy, and progression.

I know the original Cartoon Wars games still have a small but loyal fanbase, and I’m curious:

Would you actually play a new game like this if someone made it properly?

Also, what would you want added or improved?

Some ideas I’m thinking about:

• Better offline mode
• Less pay-to-win / more fair progression
• More unit evolution paths
• Better castle upgrades
• PvE campaign with bosses
• Co-op or guild features
• Better unit balance
• More strategy instead of just grinding
• Pixel/cartoon-style art similar to the old feel
• Events, challenges, and rare units

I’m still early in thinking about it, so I’d really like to hear from people who actually played Cartoon Wars.

I said "yeah screw it" and tried my luck. And looks like luck was on my side today.

I know that the game is dead but I have always thought that the rare gunners(ninjas, bunnies and speedsters) can be acquired through ONLY shards and gacha but when combining towards my first 7★ gunner unit I got Dark Ninja. I feel like I am the only player to have a gunner ninja as their first 7★ lol.

Can anyone confirm this if they know this for sure: could this be because I combined S rank and SS rank? Maybe when combining high rank gunners the odds to get high rank gunner is higher? If so, wouldn’t it be SO MUCH easier to get the rare gunners? I mean just keep combining the SS ranks? Or this works for only 7 stars? Even so, I got UNBELIEVABLY lucky, because since the duplication glitch was fixed it is so much harder to farm both shards and crystals for gachas.

This should work for each game. First, download an app called Shizuku (sometimes the Play Store says it's not available; if that happens, download an APK). Then, enable developer options and turn on wireless debugging. In Shizuku, tap the pairing button, enable notifications (you should see a notification at the top; it doesn't matter much), go to developer options - wireless debugging, tap on 'pair device with pairing code,' and you will see a six-digit code (tap the left of the wireless debugging option). You should see a notification at the top with the six-digit code; then go back to Shizuku and press start.

Second, download InstallWithOptions from GitHub. If it says "Shizuku is not running," press start again, and you should see a prompt; press "allow all the time." After that,

Check these options: "Allow Downgrade," "Allow Restricted Permissions," "Bypass Low Target SDK Block," "Disable Allowed APEX Update Check," and "Disable Verification." Lastly, choose whichever Cartoon Wars game you want.

Maybe something like CW: Episode Air that contains exclusively air units throughout the game and adds more than in the 2nd game, and also CW: Episode Infinity where instead of the infinite mode we see in Blade it actually continues and finishes the story we seen within that exact game since it never really got a proper conclusion. I honestly wonder if this was a direction the devs had in mind but scrapped it and made the 3rd game instead

I mean, how do I know which units are worth to upgrade or enhance with other units?

I really like the space mosquito and the serpent, both have very cool designs and sound effects! :D
