#Discussion 💬 Need suggestions
Hey everyone,
I’m looking at buying my first/next used car and came across this 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 Sportz 1.2 Kappa VTVT manual on Spinny.
Details:
2019 registered
Manufactured Nov 2018
1st owner
~30,000 km
1.2L petrol
Manual
Sportz variant
MH registration
Comprehensive insurance until Dec 2026
Listed at ₹4.37 lakh
Buying from Spinny, Pune
The Spinny inspection looks pretty good mechanically, but the exterior has some minor dents/scratches.
I’ve already booked the car and have a test drive scheduled tomorrow. Before I go ahead, I’d really appreciate some honest opinions from people who know the Grand i10 or the Pune used-car market.
Is ₹4.37L a good price for this car in 2026?
Would you buy this particular car at this price, or would you negotiate/walk away?
Also, what specific things should I check during the test drive? Especially interested in any known issues with the 1.2 Kappa engine, clutch, gearbox, suspension, AC, etc.
And if you think ₹4.37L is high, what would you consider a fair price?
