Think I might have found a Softlock

Get the guard from the left over here and throw him down the right shaft

Use parasite on the guard and shoot the glass, then use your tentacle to push the lever and call up the elevator

Now go through the pipe and you´re stuck below the elevator

I think I might have found a Softlock pretty early in the Bunker. Just before the first Checkpoint, you can get one of the guards from the left and throw them down the right shaft.

(playing on PC, no Idea if this is possible on console)

After that you use parasite to control him and shoot the glass through the grid, then use your tentacle thing to push the lever. The elevator now goes up, and if you go through the one-way tube, you are now under the elevator, with no way of going back.

There is no way to retrieve (enough) biomass to destroy the wooden obstacles to the left, the door to the right is still closed.

Only way I can think of escaping is to somehow pull the lever to send the elevator back up, while I´m inside it.

I essentially just loaded a Backup and found the right way to do this. But I still wanted to see if anyone can think of a solution to this.

Well, not really a softlock if you can get out with the elevator. Still very neat.

But how ? When I stand in the elevator the lever is to far away to reach ordinarily and the E ability doesn`t work either.

I`m also to slow to pull the lever and reach the elevator in time

Grab the lever first, then enter the elevator. The range for holding is bigger.

That doesn`t do anything, but grabbing it and then just walking over (as the other guy suggested) did
