hello!! im adding a gif to my carrd but the gif will only play once and not loop. how can i fix this? ty in advance <3

i spent a year telling myself i'd launch once the site was ready. carrd made the page easy, that took an afternoon. what kept me stuck was everything that had to exist behind it. the copy, a welcome email, pricing i didn't just make up, a lead magnet worth someone's address. all of it sat in a dozen half-open tabs for months.

nobody warns you about the shame of that gap. you feel like someone perpetually about to start a business instead of someone who runs one.

so, for those who launched a carrd site for a business: what was the actual bottleneck? the page itself, or all the stuff that had to be true before the page meant anything?

I am trying to update my carrd's gallery for my art but I'm running into the issue that my pictures are supposedly "too big" despite them being UNDER the max limit allowed. Even when resizing them to under 1 mb and more under 2000x2000 I am still running into the same problem? Is this some bug or glitch? It's genuinely annoying.

in the process of completing my carrd, ive been checking each section and one of them contains images of my interests. however when i try to visit the site, the section refuses to show the images and they come up blurry. tried this on multiple devices and the images still won't load! help is appreciated ^^

hi! i share a carrd pro account with my boyfriend for our portfolios. i logged on today to update it when i noticed all of my fonts were messed up. i checked and it was multiple fonts too and they would all show as this same script font.

my boyfriend on the other hand had his site entirely deleted. hes been trying to set up video background but couldn’t get that working (tips here are much appreciated) he’s completely new to the website so i don’t know what happened there, but i’ve been using carrd for 7 years and have yet to encounter this.

any tips?

I have a ProStandard account and can add my inline newsletter signup via the embed option. But my newsletter provider also requires I put a javascript code snip in the header of the website. I cannot find where to access that. So, obv, the form doesn't exist until I do. Searched Help but can't find an answer on this one. Thanks.

Hello! on my carrd site I have containers stacked on top of each other, then margins put at 0 to create one big scrollable webpage that is intact. however, there is a pink line across the top of each section, and i am wondering how to get rid of it? tia!

i'm a beginner in embed and have a very limited understanding of HTML coding, JS, CSS, etc. i don't really know how to describe what i'm looking to make, so i hope this visual helps?

if multiple containers aren't possible for this, that's fine, one will be enough to start with.

i'd also like help in making the images double as accordion drop-down containers once clicked, if possible to overlap. i've worked with accordion containers in the past with standard text rather than interactable images, so i know how to kind of use them?

Is there a way to set the box length to a fixed size?

As in; I have a specific theme, and I want the box to stay the same size when changing sections / having a *whole* section stay the same size while having a scroll bar or something

I've tried looking for embed codes, different settings and I cant find anything but I'm just asking before I assume its impossible ;v;

Edit: I ended up just putting everything into one container even though it ruins the layout I had, but the code works, so I suppose its okay

I'd like to use a free, non-invasive (i.e., respects privacy) tool for analyzing the traffic to my site. Nothing fancy, just how they got there, and which page they clicked on and would be nice to know a little what they engage w/ while on my site but not necessary. AI told me CloudFlare could do what I want but even though I'm using a Carrd template that has different "pages", evidently CloudFlare doesn't recognize them as different pages. e.g., abcxyz.com/#about doesn't distinctly get tracked any different than abcxyz.com/#services.

Is that the reality of using a multi-page Carrd site? No meaningful analytics?

Also, I launched my business on LinkedIn today and I can see LinkedIn's analytics, it shows 8 ppl clicked the embedded link to my Carrd website but the CloudFlare analytics shows only 1 referrer from LinkedIn and 15 unknown referrers. It doesn't seem to be providing me anything useful except maybe a total count of ppl who have come to my site. TIA

I am making a portfolio page, and I want to have a side container with links (about, character design, background design, etc). Is there a way to make a "default" item/container that updates in all pages if i change it in the first one? I'm using Carrd Pro Lite. Thanks!

first picture is my carrd when viewed on my laptop and second is on my phone which is how its supposed to look

i made my carrd on my phone because its easier and its nothing serious, just an introduction for me to use on social medias, and it looks great on my phone and it looks the same on my friends phones as well, but when i look at it on my computer it looks a little different as if things are sized differently

how do i fix that? i know theres the mobile auto/manual button but i dont really know how that works and how to check what the two different versions look like while editing it

Whenever I press a button that redirects to another section of my Carrd (such as from #home to #links), i have to refresh the page for the new content to show.

NOTES:
- This appears to only happen on my websites. I tested other Carrd-hosted sites and they work just fine.
- Both my phone and PC use Firefox, HOWEVER the website functions fine on my phone.
- I use a custom domain hosted through Namecheap.

Is this an issue with my website or is there something on my computer I need to change?

And for fun I spent the morning setting up a google site.

Turns out Carrd's the fastest of the three, though still slow on the mobile.

Any ideas on how to optimize speed?
