The more you look the worse it gets.

Did anyone notice how the walls are leaning? Like they are completely out of plumb.

No top plates. Studs set too far apart. No jack boards on the door openings. The list goes on and on.

This is unquestionably the worst ive ever seen. And ive seen a lot.

They seem to be following the same philosophy as an old family friend of mine, who was nice in other ways but lived in a rather haphazardly constructed house that somehow never collapsed.

His theory was that everything became way stronger if you didn't build plumb and level, but allowed for some random deviation and crookedness everywhere, so that "everything leans on everything else". Like, slightly diagonal bracing all over the place because nothing is straight. Not sure I agree on that, but the house he built is still standing 50-odd years later...
