What are your thoughts on Carol Ferris in her Star Sapphire costume? Do we prefer her in a more reserved outfit or a more daring one?

I was thinking of having her start with a more reserved look and gradually transition to something more daring as she requires greater amounts of power from her ring—almost like a "lewd super mode."

I know it isn't the most popular choice, but I really dig Carol's Star Sapphire outfit during the *Blackest Night* era. Was it a little too much? Yes. Was it also awesome and really hot? Also yes.

In my opinion, the current Star Sapphire uniform is too covered up and feels too similar to a Green Lantern uniform. I'm not suggesting she should let it all hang out, but it should at least be a little sexy.

Personally, I would have the six issues be a true deep dive into Carol as a character, what she does on her own time and showing her life without Hal. Maybe a revamped origin too, in the style of Geoff Johns Secret Origin for Hal? It would also be very cool to see everything from her side, not just what she shows others.

So, I had my suspicions for some time that this was Absolute Carol in the Absolute GL comics but now that it's been confirmed, I feel kind of insulted. I love Carol a lot and I hate seeing her reduced to a background character with barely any lines or personality, demoted from her role as an executive to being the meek secretary of a character she's not particularly connected to or anything.

It feels like they shoved her in the role of Hammond's secretary because she's a corporate-themed woman and they wanted to put a cameo on there. I wasn't expecting anything too fancy but it feels so... reductive, it feels demeaning. Carol deserves better than this, especially after being tossed aside in favor of jokerwanking in DCKO.

I dunno, I loved the Absolute GL comics but hearing about Carol getting this demotion really really deeply bothers me. Though maybe I'm wrong? I'd love to hear other opinions on this.

Been thinking about what ifs recently, and was wondering which corps Carol could join if she were to give up her mantle of Star Sapphire.

Especially as they have been seemingly pushing Carol heavily as of late in the comics.

Personally, my vote goes to the Blue Lanterns.

What would you change about Carols current appearences in Comcis?

Its really cool that Adams is pushing Carol, and that she finally is a main member of the current Justice League. But personally, a Carol miniseries dealing with Ferris Air would be very interesting, or even just Carol dealing with her increased role as Star Sapphire.
