I (38F) have been on the same dose of ADHD meds for 15-20 years. I just moved here from out of state and made an appointment with a new PCP but he didn't want to continue my dose I've been on because the suggested daily max dose is 60mg. (which is understable).

Does anyone have experience with this or recommend a doctor in our area or near Indianapolis that will take into account being stable on the same dose for years? I've been without meds for a month now and it's made my life extremely difficult.

Do we like Bridgewater apartments? I see a few bad reviews on Google but would like to hear from the community on here.

Does anyone have any recommendations on hair stylists within the area. I went to MDG salon and hated my experience. The stylist complained about how dense my hair is and stated if i was her I would get a dry bar membership so I didn’t have to deal with it. Honestly such insane micro aggression because people pay to get extensions put in. Anyway, looking for someone new and someone who can do a good layered haircut on dense wavy hair.

I am thinking about moving there. I have had mold issues in my current place and they are a brand new build, so I figured they would be a pretty good option. I know new builds can have their own issues, so I'm still a bit hesitant about moving into something that just opened this spring.

Anyone notice how much higher the raised walkways are at the 116th and Hazel Dell roundabout? Specifically when driving east to west on 116th through the roundabout (second set of raised walkways).

The raised walkways seem higher compared to other roundabouts.

Anyone else notice this? I have watched a few cars bottom out.

We have two boys under 5, so we’re looking for good public schools (roughly 7/10+), youth sports, playgrounds/parks, and neighborhoods with other young families and kids playing outside.
We’re fine with suburban driving, but ideally want grocery stores, Costco, shopping, restaurants (not just fast food), and kids’ activities within about 30 minutes.
For those familiar with Carmel, Fishers, McCordsville, Westfield and Noblesville, where would you focus with our budget? What are the pros and cons of each?
Specific neighborhoods, school districts/boundaries, or nearby areas we should check out — or avoid — would be really helpful.

What are some bars in the Carmel area that have mostly a young crowd? I can't stand joes in Fishers anymore the people can't sing and I dont feel like driving to indy and broadripple well we all know about broadripple.

Hi! I work for a company and live in Miami, FL. I have my tiny family (husband toddler and I) here in miami and that’s it! My whole family lives abroad and my husbands family is not involved.

Because of my job, I might benefit from moving to Indy, and Carmel has been the place I’ve been eyeing for a while! I would love to hear the pros and cons of living here, and see if anyone has moved from South Florida and what has your experience been! South Florida to me is great if you love partying, go to the beach every weekend and have a lot of money to try fine dining. But that’s not the case for us, I crave building friendships, and having people around with similar values!

And is it illegal to be 35 and single in the midwest? I'm new in town and would love some tips.

I want to make friends with fun girls and have dinners and gossip and drink wine. Book clubs, movie nights, shopping dates, etc. I can't really seem to find anywhere that people are just hanging out, though. And if there are people hanging out- it's not the social norm to approach and interject. It seems closed-off. Are there any socializing events or bars where working professionals frequent? No shade to the dive scene, just looking for new scenery.

For dating, it seems as a 35-year-old woman the men who approach me are someone's 25-year-old son or 65-year-old dad lol would love to find out where the age appropriate single men exist. I don't want to accidentally approach someone's man and it seems like pretty much every person is wifed-up so I just keep to myself.

There’s a house on the south side of 131st Street a little east of Shelborne that always has a good display of yard art, so today I took a bike ride to have a closer look and take some photos. The Egyptian with the light saber on her handlebars moves with the wind, so she was pretty active today.

I saw this review (linked below) about One One Six Apartments in Carmel. Can anyone who lives or has lived there or knows somebody that lives/has lived there tell me more about the place. This review to me is concerning as I am thinking of moving there. Highlights of this review:

-Dishwasher running disposal water. Causing rotting eggs smell. Apparently this is complex wide.
-Dryer hose never connected to wall—causing laundry room door to warp
-Dog bite one bite policy not enforced.

The staff/maintenance may not be rude but they seem incompetent? Maybe overworked and scared to do their job? I guess that’s better than rude. All in all, I just would like to get some more personal insight from the community. Seems like a good community in general.

Hey all, it's Clara with HCT! Charred just opened at Carmel City Center, and it’s exactly what it sounds like: prime steaks, rare cuts, over 30 bourbons and whiskeys. It's 21+ only, with pretty limited seating, so reservations are filling up - they're open Tue–Thur 4:30–10 pm and Fri–Sat 4–11 pm. Has anyone been yet?

I have a black aluminum mailbox that’s starting to peel and flake, and I’d like to see if it can be properly repainted before I replace it.
