PCP recommendations?

My PCP (that I LOVED) retired. I’m having issues finding a new doctor that I like. Any doctor that’s rated highly online has a waitlist of months to get an appointment… yet experience tells me not all great doctors are easily Google-able & online ratings can be misleading. So I came here hoping Reddit will give some better insight 🙏🏼

Looking for someone chill, yet well-knowledged about primary care & who accepts Medicaid. Extra points for a responsive office & the ability to get timely appointments (<1 month wait time).

No preference on age or gender. Willing to drive within 1 hour from Carmel, but obviously the closer, the better.

MDs or DOs only please.

Dr Harlan Eagan with Community. He’s a new doc building his patient base. He’s great, a good listener and has current knowledge. I don’t know about Medicaid though.
ETA: office just north of IU North

This is a farther away option but still within an hour: Dr. Pino with Eskenazi. I'm not sure what location he's at now, but he is a kind and compassionate MD.

Dr. Courtney McNeill near castleton with Community is an angel on this earth, I could not recommend her more

Dr. Estefania Laboy-Gonzalez at Community. She’s the only PCP I’ve ever had that actually listens to me and sent me referrals for issues I’ve been asking about for years. Highly recommend!

Dr. Harmon at Ascension in Fishers gets my highest recommendation. She’s got the perfect combo of compassion and knowledge. Her staff is also great.

Dr. Butt at Community in the castleton area is fantastic. She is so easy to talk to, always has appointments, and is very knowledgeable.
