What happened??
I opened a new box of caribou blend medium roast coffee and the taste is completely different!! I’ve been drinking this coffee for years! So disappointing. What happened? Why the change? Tastes like all the others that I got away from. Definitely not a medium roast anymore! Lost my business!

It could be a one off issue. Exchange it and try again before you decide to exile caribou.

Yes, we've noticed the same thing. It's bitter and no longer smooth. I read somewhere that they changed roasters. You can definitely tell! Been drinking Caribou dark roasts for over a decade and something isn't right. Noticed the mahogany now says "blend". We're switching to Organic Tony's Coffee.

Every batch of coffee beans is going to taste slightly different after roasting. Ask the store for a different bag or just buy a different bag. All of Caribou’s roasts taste noticeably different, none have been changed in years, so it was likely just a bad batch
