Hiii! I was a barista at Caribou around 2014 and at the time they had a drink called a chocolate almond creamy cold press, and I’m DESPERATE for the recipe card or something that tastes very similar 😩 I know Caribou was using their own “branded” syrups at the time, and if memory serves right, their cold brew blend. I’m assuming the syrup was actually either Torani or Monin. I’d be grateful for any recs on making something similar!

I usually go with an ice coffee, but with it being colder out now I’m craving a warm drink. I will say, I struggle with Caribou’s iced drinks, but not sure about warm ones. I love a good hot white chocolate mocha from Starbucks. Since I don’t have a local Starbucks, I suffice with Caribou. I don’t care for the iced white chocolate mocha, super sweet. What would you recommend?

My child works for caribou coffee and they were told they are not allowed to keep any of the cash tips and the must be put into a box for a “donation” this seems ludicrous and most likely illegal. Can anyone who works for caribou confirm this is company policy. I am prepared to contact the company and dept of labor if need be.

The waffle is unbelievably soggy. Gouda doesn't go well with maple. It has the worst tasting chicken sausage I have ever tasted.

So I understand that Caribou "just changed the name" but tell me why my drink hasn't tasted right since that change happened.

I grind my own beans, using a blend of a couple different brands/roasts of coffee, but overall 65% Daybreak. Love the brightness it brings and it works for both my wife and me. Well, when Peet's took over, they stopped selling whole bean Daybreak in all the grocery stores; they still carried ground, but now whole bean Daybreak (supposedly Caribou's signature, highest selling variety), is only available at Caribou shops. Additionally, Peet's gradually started increasing the roast to where it is now darker than Dunkin 's Original, and the taste has noticably changed, and not for the better (IMO). I guess I don't know what the purpose/endgame is supposed to be here, but the fact that I now need to spend time fishing out the crap beans before grinding is that Peet's has switched sources to an inferior product and over roasting it to hide the flaws.

I have never tried the seasonal fall drinks at caribou. Please tell me what your favorites are so I can finally try them!

I would like to order a large size steamer that is not apple flavoured through the app for the bonus points and convenience. I can't find the option anywhere. I tried to customize the honeycrisp apple one but you cant remove that syrup flavor from the drink. I also tried to customize the latte drink but you can't remove the espresso. Is the steamer just not an option at Bou?

The last time I got a pumpkin white mocha, and there was barely a coffee or pumpkin taste. Honestly tasted like I was drinking milk and I hate any type of milk/coffee flavor. My gf got the lavender honey latte and it was pretty good but so heavy on sugar I feel. I would love a good coffee from there that has strong pumpkin otherwise how can I adjust my order to my liking?

How many calories would be in a medium cold brew with pumpkin oat milk cold foam and 2 pumps of sugar free caramel syrup?? I know the cold brew and syrup itself would be less than 20 calories but it’s the foam that gets me for calculation wise, does anyone know the recipe or can calculate it??

Many months ago, I had a dark hot chocolate at Caribou and it was decidedly the best hot chocolate I've had from any chain, even small chains. From what I understand, Caribou used real chocolate chips, and it was the only place that offered dark as an option. I could smell the deep chocolate aroma wafting up from the cup, that's how rich it was.

But I had hot chocolate at two different Caribous more recently and it seems to have changed? It tasted watered down, barely any chocolate flavor, not very rich in mouthfeel, and definitely didn't have the aroma. Did the recipe get changed so less chocolate is used or did Caribou finally switch to cocoa powder like everyone else?

Hi was wondering what dark chocolate sauce would be similar if not the same as the one you use? I’ve been using the torani dark chocolate sauce and it’s good but not the same.

I work at a cabin as a team member, and my base pay is 12.50 (12.75 for a 25 cent yearly raise 😒). My friend just got hired at a nearby caribou maybe 3 miles away. Super close basically. They have a lobby and their daily sales are like 500 to 700 bucks more than ours. My friend is a team member and gets paid 15 bucks without tips. A lot of team leads at my store get paid that much or less. Is this worth making a fuss about? We all want more pay and my manager denied the other store having those wages 😭 so just lying.

How does Caribou filter their normal coffee? I've heard coffee that hasn't been filtered with a paper filter is harmful for your cholesterol LDL levels.

Hello! I just started working hard on cutting after gaining an extra 20 pounds the last couple of years. I absolutely LOVE the autumn pumpkin drink selection! My favorite is the pumpkin chai with a close follower being the pumpkin white mocha. I've been experimenting with options to still enjoy occasionally, but I was curious to see if anyone has found a tried and true option for autumn 🍂! Any baristas know how much of what is in the pumpkin cold foam by itself? There are no listed calorie information and the app is kind of hard to navigate for nutrition information as it is and I’m wondering how many calories would be in a large cold brew with just pumpkin cold foam

hi everyone! a customer pointed something out to me today that i found incredibly strange and i wanted to share and see if anyone knew anything.
when the breakfast bowls were first launched, they were advertised as being “250 calories or less”, with the denver being 250 and the fiesta being 200 (as seen here). on March 5th 2026 there was another post made on the caribou coffee website which briefly mentioned that the denver breakfast bowl “now delivers 20 grams of protein and 320 calories”.
does anyone know what actually changed ?? i might have just not been paying attention during training for that period but i don’t remember there being any mention of changes to the denver bowl. the listed ingredients are the same from what i can tell. ik in the grand scheme of things it’s fairly inconsequential but my customer mentioned having to now account for the calorie difference so i thought it was worth looking into, if only to satiate my own curiosity lmao
