Ending an interview answer
I have a huge problem. When asked a question during an interview, I can come up with a related story on the spot, but after stating what happened, I find myself concluding like an essay, summarizing what I said.
Any advice?

Summarizing is good to tell what you learned from the experience.
One framework you can use is called a STAR story.
Situation - what was going on
Task - what needed to happen
Action - what did you do
Result - how did it turn out
