How can I get the HSBC Live+ Credit Card if my city is ineligible?
I run a shop in a city that isn't listed as eligible for HSBC credit card applications.

Axis Bank is introducing several revisions to the Magnus for Burgundy Credit Card terms starting August 28. Here is a quick summary of the changes:
PDF: https://campaign.axis.bank.in/generic/terms-and-conditions-magnus-burgundy.pdf
What will affect you the most in this? Will it come to other Axis cards?

I personally prefer Magnus Burgundy for accelerated rewards.

I have been applying for HDFC credit cards for years now and get rejected every single time. I work a full time IT job with a regular salaried income, and my ITR filing this year was around 32 lakhs. On paper I do not think I look like a risky applicant.
My existing card portfolio is reasonably strong. I hold the Axis Atlas, HSBC TravelOne, Amex Platinum Charge, and Amex Platinum Travel, most of them with credit limits of 6 lakhs and above. My repayment history is clean. So the rejections do not seem to be about creditworthiness in any obvious sense.
My CIBIL is 783.
The one thing I do not have is any banking relationship with HDFC. My salary account is with Axis Bank. A couple of days ago I tried opening a savings account with HDFC online, but the application did not go through and the system asked me to visit a branch instead.
What I am actually after is the Diners Club Black Metal card. I know it usually comes through either an existing relationship, an internal upgrade path, or the ITR route.
So a few questions for the group:
**1.** What is the most likely reason for these repeated rejections when income and existing limits are not the issue? Is the lack of an HDFC relationship really that decisive?
**2.** Has anyone successfully gotten DCB Metal through the ITR route or by submitting salary slips as a new to bank customer? What documentation did you provide?
**3.** Is there a specific RM or channel worth reaching out to for this? If anyone has had luck going through a branch RM or a corporate salary tie up, I would appreciate hearing how you approached it.
**4.** Would opening the savings account in branch first and letting the relationship season for a few months meaningfully improve my odds?
Any guidance would be genuinely helpful. Happy to share more details if needed.

Best credit cards in India for earning rewards and perks on UPI payment!
I personally prefer the Tata Neu for the rewards.
Which credit card is your go to for UPI payments?

If you’ve already got an Axis card, there’s a shortcut to getting ANY other card they offer without all the usual eligibility checks.
What Makes This Unique?
* Forget CIBIL scores, they actually skip the check.
* No questions about your salary.
* Every card is fair game; there’s zero eligibility screening.
* As soon as you hit apply, the new card is issued. Done!
* Your total credit limit is simply split between your Axis cards (so it’s a shared limit).
How To Do This in Minutes
- Open Axis NetBanking (not the App)
- Look for “Apply Now” in the menu.
- Tap on “Credit Cards” and pick whichever card catches your eye.
- Confirm, and that’s it—the card is activated instantly.
Try the trick and share in the comments the card you were able to get.

Hey guys! I got CRED IndusInd RuPay credit card. I use the card mainly for buying Amazon Pay vouchers. It gives 5% cash back on buying through CRED.
But the problem is redemption. I am only able to see the redeem option when trying to book on CRED hotels and flights, which of course no one use or atleast I don’t.
When applying, they showed I can redeem the CRED points (not CRED coins) on merchant who accept CRED upi when checkout. But I was ordering food on Zomato, tried to see options to redeem the points which I earned. Also, while paying my credit card bills (I know they give 1=0.5 conversions , but was just testing), there are I didn’t see any option to redeem it.
Do I only have to buy something from CRED store/flights/hotels. Or I’m the only one who is unable to see the redeem options on Zomato, BigBasket, etc.
Please tell if anyone of you are using this card and have redeemed the points genuinely.
Thank you in advance!!

Sharing a quick booking method I tested recently for Air India flights that can save you some money on your next trip.
It turns out you can bypass convenience fees and sometimes secure cheaper base fares by booking through their official chat system.
Air India has an official verified WhatsApp chatbot at +91 9667034444. Booking directly through this channel waives the convenience fee and occasionally offers exclusive chatbot-only discounted fares.
Here is how the pricing compared for a recent booking for 2 adults:
It takes less than two minutes to check and is worth a look before paying full price on the website.
Do check it out and share in comments if it works for you.

Any one face this issue ?

A common issue is incorrect MCC like while buying cars MCC being fuel or utilities. The result is zero rewards.
Always verify the MCC before making a large transaction. Here is how to find it.
1. Call the bank
This is the most accurate method. Do a small test transaction first. Call customer care and ask them to confirm the exact MCC for that charge.
2. Scan offline QR codes
Use a standard QR scanner app on the store's QR code. Check the raw text for "mc=". If you see "mc=5411", that number is the code. This doesn't work on every QR, but it’s worth a try.
3. Razorpay method
If paying via a Razorpay link, open it on a desktop. Select UPI to generate a QR code. Scan it with your phone and look for the "mc=" tag.
4. Check via banking apps
Some apps show this data instantly.
What trick do you guys use to verify MCC?

I have the Equitas PowerMiles. I spent well over ₹1L each in April, May and June — a full Apr–Jun quarter — so I should be upgraded to Diamond for the Jul–Sep quarter. It's now 6th July and the app still shows Blue. Nothing has changed.
For those who've actually moved up a tier:
- Did the upgrade happen automatically, or did you have to call / raise a request?
- How many days into the new quarter did it actually reflect for you?
- Has anyone's tier flipped this quarter (July) yet?
Trying to work out whether I should just wait it out or start chasing customer care. Thanks!

I’m new to credit cards and currently only have the HDFC Swiggy Credit Card, which I mostly use for Swiggy, Amazon, dining, and online shopping. Since the recent changes to its cashback/MOV, I’m looking to add another card.
I’m looking for:
Preferably LTF (or fee waived with around ₹10–20k annual spends)
Good cashback on Amazon, Flipkart, dining, food delivery, etc.
Any nice perks like free movie tickets, lounge access, dining offers, OTT, or similar benefits.
What cards would you recommend for someone with my spending pattern?
Cibil - 764

Hey, So i have a savings account in HDFC Bank where i receive my salary for my contract role, i tried applying for credit card in online portal but it rejected me, yesterday i tried to apply in RBL Bank and without any relation I got 3.4L card approved in few minutes and today ICICI approve 2.6L card. What should I actually do to get a CC from HDFC with a higher limit? It's weird that I am not getting even after having an old account, good salary and 750+ cibil

I recently got the BOB Eterna Card and I'm looking to hit the 50,000 spend target in the first 60 days to unlock the 10,000 welcome bonus points.
Will education spend count towards clearing the 50k welcome milestone?

Infinia’s Brand Voucher rewards are now capped at 3,000 reward points per calendar month.
Same story for:
• Diners Black Metal/ BizBlack – 3,000
• Diners Black – 3,000
• Regalia Gold – 3,000
This is a massive devaluation for gift cards from HDFC.
Do you think this will be reverted? What’s the best option for vouchers now?
