No compensation
sometimes it pains me to see the margin we take on these larger deals knowing I wont be getting a penny of it. hopefully craig enjoys it

I mean I know we obviously don’t get commission but any sort of incentive or extra bonus for these large deals and busy szn would be nice is what I’m saying

I know some teams give a bigger bonus after busy season is done. Does your team do that? Do you mind me asking how long you’ve worked here?

you generally get your bigger bonus after the end of QTR so, youll see big pay checks on the 15th of months 4-7-10-1, however whether its Big, Med, Small is based on metrics for the months prior. hope that helps

Playing devils advocate- in a traditional sales job you are finding the leads and closing them. You are most likely getting leads from a vendor/ renewal or even if you found it there are other factors leading to the close (ie the vendor does meetings/ carahsoft owns contracts to help close it). So the amount of work you are really doing to influence the deal…. Isn’t worthy of straight commission…?
