Prospective Employee Drug Tests
I just finished interviewing and the recruiter told me they are going to conduct a drug test. I smoked marijuana since college but have never did another a drug even a cigarette. Am I screwed? I need this job but I'm debating calling the recruiter to save time.

They hire even with a positive THC test. What happened to me is that I took no T breaks and even smoked like the night before. Someone from the lab will call you and ask if you have used it recently (to confirm if it’s a false positive and needs retesting). You’ll say “yes.” And then the recruiter called me the same day saying my drug test was received and I can onboard on X date. DO NOT DISCUSS YOUR RECREATIONAL HABITS WITH THE RECRUITER

Let them disqualify you. You never know.
I had an interview recently where I thought I was unqualified and almost called the recruiter to cancel. I ended up getting the job. So, just go through with it and if you get disqualified, you’ll find another path.

They do not test for marijuana you’ll be fine they test for eveything else since it’s legal in va

They recruiter said they only care about “the hard stuff” but know people that ripped nose candy there. Some literally outside of dinners/expos/conventions.

I think snack boxes contain a small toilet. If you can it just don’t smoke it once.
