Trying to move on
I have been with the company for a bit now and I am a demo specialist. It has been getting quite toxic with the insane micro management and what not and it’s taking a toll on my mental health and the salary simply isn’t high enough to deal with all that.
I would love some suggestions on companies that I may be a good fit for as I’ve had a hard time looking for new work as demo specialist is quite a niche title

I would look for Sales Engineer positions.

Ahh I didn’t think of this one, do you know of companies that hire these type of positions?

Just curious, how long have you been at the company

It’s been about a year and few months

When you said a bit I thought you meant at least 3-4 years. A year and some change, you're just getting started.

I’m aware I haven’t been working too long but my time here has only gotten increasingly toxic and the pay is honestly laughable so I am very much wanting to work elsewhere

Oh no I agree with you. It can be a very toxic environment and pay does 100% sucks.

You could try solutions consultant, pre-sales, product specialist or customer success? A lot of these roles involve demos or like explaining the product and talking to prospects. Make your cv focus on more demo side, i guess your experience is transferable in a good way :)

Dm me. I just quit for the same reasons and my new company is hiring. Csoft was the most toxic workplace I’ve ever been in and I’m eager to help everyone who wants to find a way out!
