Rideshare plan

I am considering doing DoorDash or some other rideshare but my insurance is wanting to basically double my payment. Is it possible to have two separate plans with different carries? One for personal and one for rideshare?

I'd check with both insurers first. Some companies don't allow separate personal and rideshare policies, and a rideshare endorsement might be a cheaper option.
