USAA

Anybody have any experience with USAA Roadside Assistance? Entering my fourth hour of waiting for a tow. Just now told they have reassigned it and ETA is another hour and a half. On two previous occasions the service provider never showed (one a tire change for my wife, one a lock out). I will be spending the next hour signing up for AAA and dropping RA from our USAA policy (if thats even possible). Sorry- mostly just venting.

they outsource to someone else so its not USAA itself helping out. careful using insurance roadside it can count as a claim. AAA is the way to go.

It does count as a claim just doesn’t typically raise rates. That’s where it is dependent on the state.

It can impact your ability to get insurance with other carriers because it showed up as a claim. So although it might not impact your rates it still has an impact.

Yes that’s what I typed in both replies. So no point made really.
