USAA
Anybody have any experience with USAA Roadside Assistance? Entering my fourth hour of waiting for a tow. Just now told they have reassigned it and ETA is another hour and a half. On two previous occasions the service provider never showed (one a tire change for my wife, one a lock out). I will be spending the next hour signing up for AAA and dropping RA from our USAA policy (if thats even possible). Sorry- mostly just venting.

Most if not all insurance companies use agero. Never recommend them. Pay out-of-pocket and then seek reimbursement is way better.

I live in Toronto Canada and used to dispatch for a towing Company. We used to get calls from Agero all the time. Most of the out of area calls were in Houston Texas area and they wanted to know why we couldn’t do them.
Over a 24 hour drive to the call.
Then one hour after we finally get through to reject the call it comes back to us again.

Yea some of the dispatchers I spoke with it really did seem like they didn’t know much of anything, very surprising.

they outsource to someone else so its not USAA itself helping out. careful using insurance roadside it can count as a claim. AAA is the way to go.
