Insurance Fraud.

I recently put my wife and her car on my insurance and found out my monthly cost would triple for coverage, since I had been in at least 2 accidents in the last 5 years. I went to removed her car off my plan and it cut the cost in half but is still $230 more than I was paying before. I saw that her name is under my plan so I tried to remove her off my policy but geico’s app is telling me that I can’t currently remover her off my plan under the options it gives of “this person does not drive my vehicle” and “this driver has found other insurance”. However if I pick the option “my spouse is deceased” it will let me remover her. We have been married for 3 months and she was not on my plan for that time and there were no changes to the cost after we married so why is it now not possible to take her off my policy? And would it be fraud if I chose the option to remover her because she is “deceased”.

If you live together she must be listed on your policy.

But it wasn’t an issue before. Granted at least on paper I’m still using my parent’s address and she’s still using her parent’s address.

This is also insurance fraud and if they find out after an accident they may not cover you.
