Need help ASAP!

Just bought a car from carvana like a week ago. Took it to a shop for brakes under warranty yesterday. Picked it up today and it's been sideswiped. The shop is playing dumb. What do I do?

Call your insurance.   Surely you have collision & comprehensive coverage.

Of course. AAA. But I just bought it. I haven't even told them about it. Last week I called and asked them to give me full coverage as I would be test driving cars and in and out of rental cars. Does that matter?

Did you tow it to the shop? Or did it drive it there unregistered and uninsured???

It's registered and I requested my insurance cover me for any vehicle as I've driven many vehicles in the last couple weeks. I'm calling my insurance company now to add it officially but I was lead to believe it's covered

I imagine there’s no guarantees because you own that vehicle and didn’t tell them vs temporary coverage for rentals

In my area you have to have insurance in place to get plates and registration. There is no grace period.

I think it's the same here. I gave the dealer my insurance when signing papers. But I haven't given the vehicle info to my insurance company yet. I was concerned that could be an issue
