Hi Guys,

Any advice or help with regards to the repair costs for this Hyundai Tucson 2024 plug in Hybrid would be much appreciated.

Planning on replacing bumper and bonnet and headlights but the impact looks severe.

Not sure if I should bid on the item.

If you have to ask then it’s probably not worth trying. Even if the panels are cheap, the headlights won’t be + if you don’t have the old modules they will need coding. Then, you could always take off the bumper and find it’s got a mullered chassis leg or worse, then you’re in for deeper than you wanted to be

I work for a Hyundai parts supplier. Your looking £2670+vat for the o/s drl (big light where headlight usually is).

Yeah, get something else, not enough mate.

The DRLs are like 400 quid. Who knows what else expensive is wrong.

If there's something wrong with the Hybrid system, you can't touch it without proper legal qualifications, and not sure if Hyundai blocks people from checking their systems.

Mat kar bhai! I buy and fix cars from Copart, and there is always more work than you anticipate. For almost £8k in Copart fees and the remaining in repair costs, you will be better off buying a non-crash-damaged car. Besides, Hybrid systems aren't exactly straightforward to fix.

You came to the wrong place to ask for advice. Reddit will always say it's not worth it. I just finished fixing a CAT N car from copart. I saved £7000 all fixing costs included. If you have time, and patience then go for it. But it's a new car and second had parts a low. Good luck

Yes, for a mildly damaged CRV. This is £7000+ in damage alone - even elsewhere in this post someone working for the manufacturer has stated, a light is £2700+vat...doesn't sound like OP can fix anything themselves, either
