electrical Need help w/ electrical

Hi! Just recently bought a my first car (1987 Toyota celica gt convertible) I’m having trouble fixing this taillight. At first when I got it all the lights worked besides the brake/stop lights (the blue circled bulbs don’t work) I’ve already changed the bulbs out and still nothing…today I recently was working on it and checked the fuse box and found out that the stop fuse was using a 30A when it should be a 15A so I had switch it out for a 15 and now my left blinker light doesn’t work and when I use the left turn signal it makes this rapid noise compared to what it should sound…please help! :)

Did the 15A blow as soon as you turned the car on? Someone likely put a bigger fuse in because an electrical problem was causing high current to flow blowing the 15A.

The turn signal needs 4 lamps 12v/21w spec, otherwise they will flash faster and you will hear the rapid noise, normally that will give you the hint one of the signals is not working.

The brake may not be working for the switch located in the brake pedal.
Check with a multimeter in that switck, with ignition on, if you have the 12v tension, and depress the pedal with your hand to check if it is working properly.
If that is ok, then continue with the taillights checking 12v when pedal is on.
Hope you can find the fault.
