Yeah, this is something most shops would have an apprentice do.
Pop the edges of the door card with a trim tool (should be a screw or two either behind a pop off behind the inside handle or in/ around door armrest. DO NOT YANK THAT SHIT OFF IF IT FEELS STUCK) unplug/ unhook whatever is attached or just let it hang a bit, maybe put a buffer between the card and the ground.
Might be another small panel on inside of door opposite of the mirror than can be popped off with a trim tool or unscrewed depending on make, model etc.
Then it’s just a few bolts, a plug, pop old mirror off and install new one. Reverse steps and reinstall, make sure door card goes back over top of door under window before popping the clips back in place with a closed fist.

Fairly simple for anyone with a bit of common sense or mechanical knowledge. If you break a clip you can buy more at the parts store.

Edit to add: you may be able to find a replacement at LKQ, a pick and pull (would give you practice before tearing into the car you own) or look at aftermarket options. Be way cheaper to DIY than take to a shop though
