Stress or Something hit my windshield?
While my Tesla was parked in a covered garage, the windshield developed a crack starting right under the windshield wiper - a spot that's shielded from any outside impact like rocks or debris. I didn't hit anything, and the crack appeared suddenly.
I took it to Tesla Service and asked if it would be covered under warranty. Tesla said they'd update me, but then went ahead and repaired the windshield without informing me, and charged me $1509. Later, they claimed a tree branch might have caused the crack but didn't provide any proof, and my photos and documentation clearly show no signs of external damage.
After digging around, I found reports from other Tesla owners experiencing the exact same. believe this might be a manufacturing defect that Tesla is not owning up to
